Kaizen Foundation Partners with Charles Antetokounmpo Family Foundation to Support Antetokounmpo Academy

With the Support of the Kaizen Foundation, the Antetokounmpo Academy increased the number of children participating in its program.

The Kaizen Foundation, a Social Purpose Foundation, funded exclusively by Kaizen Gaming, has partnered with the Charles Antetokounmpo Family Foundation to support the Antetokounmpo Academy.

The Antetokounmpo Academy is a community program that combines basketball training with educational support for boys and girls aged 10 to 17 from low-income families and it focuses on developing skills both on and off the court, while promoting social inclusion and excellence.

During the 2023-2024 academic year, the Kaizen Foundation supported the Antetokounmpo Academy by increasing the number of children who can participate in the program free of charge. Through its funding, the Kaizen Foundation facilitates the transportation of children to the Academy’s two training grounds at Sepolia and Elinorosson, the organization of mental health workshops and the empowerment of students and their families overall.

Panos Konstantopoulos, Kaizen Foundation’s president, stated: “The story of the Antetokounmpo brothers is a great example of how sports can change the life of a family. Of course, not everyone is going to become a professional athlete, but this is not the point. The point is behind what sports offer to our lives; the pure joy, the discipline needed to improve ourselves, the teamwork, the confidence and the faith in ourselves. For these reasons we are very happy to inaugurate our partnership with the Charles Antetokounmpo Foundation by supporting the Antetokounmpo Academy. We hope that through this partnership we can inspire and give hope to more children.“

Lauren Cochlin, Charles Antetokounmpo Family Foundation’s Executive Director, commented: “From the start, the Academy’s goal has been to offer children from low-income families the chance to engage with basketball and be inspired by real athletes, as well as educational workshops. We are particularly excited to have the Kaizen Foundation as a partner, as this collaboration enables us to extend this invaluable opportunity to even more children.”
