Ithaca operates Europe’s first mobile laundry service for people experiencing homelessness, combining access to essential hygiene services with dignity, social inclusion, and pathways toward reintegration into society.

Support from the Kaizen Foundation will enable the organization to achieve the following:

– 1,000 people will be receive services by the Mobile Unit and the Social Service
– 27,000 kilos of clothes will be washed
– 1,700 social requests will be accommodated by the Ithaca Social Worker
– 5 locations inside and outside the Attica Region will be visited by the mobile unit.
