The Kaizen Foundation launched its presence in Brazil through a partnership with TETO Brazil, an organisation with a long history of tackling poverty and social exclusion.
The partnership focuses on improving living conditions in vulnerable communities by constructing 120 emergency homes, providing safe shelter for more than 100 families and approximately 500 people currently living in precarious conditions.
By improving access to secure housing, families can strengthen their health and well-being, children gain a stable environment to focus on their education, and adults have greater stability to pursue employment opportunities.
The construction process also brings together volunteers and residents, helping foster stronger community ties and a shared sense of belonging.
